Our Guiding Statements (Vision, Mission, Tagline and Guiding Principles) were developed in 2015, and are reflective of all stakeholders in the Essendon North Primary School Community. They were reviewed in 2018, 2022 and 2024 through a consultation process, again with all stakeholders, showing a strong and confident agreement with the statements.
Essendon North Primary School is fully accredited with the Council of International Schools (CIS).
CIS is a membership community working collaboratively to shape international education through professional services to schools, higher education institutions and individuals.
Essendon North Primary School is an IB World School, authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Our ENPS vision reflects the IB Mission Statement:
The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
